Shelburne committee readies Center Designation application; state visit set for Sept. 9
Town Planner Aaron DeNamur told the committee the Center Designation application is complete — nearly 200 pages — and the state’s Downtown Program manager will visit Sept. 9 for presentations and a downtown tour, a step that could increase Shelburne’s access to state funding.

Town Planner Aaron DeNamur told the Shelburne Community and Economic Development Committee that the town’s Center Designation application is complete and “included nearly 200 pages of materials and documentation for the application.” The committee was told signatures on a Downtown Investment Agreement still need to be collected from stakeholders, including the Selectboard and Experience Shelburne’s executive committee, before the document is formally delivered to the state.
