Cole County authorizes Finance to draft RFP for countywide salary study
Commissioners authorized the Finance Director to draft a request for proposals for a salary study after amending a motion to bid the study; the draft RFP will be returned to the Commission for approval.

During new business the Commission discussed a county salary study led by Finance Director Debbie Malzner. Commissioner Jeff Hoelscher moved to bid the salary study; he amended his motion to authorize the Finance Director to draft a request for proposals (RFP) which would be brought back to the Commission for approval. Commissioner Harry Otto seconded the amended motion and it passed with recorded Yes votes from all three commissioners.
