Board approves updated IT security policy and adopts Incident Response Policy after closed session
Barry County approved an updated Information Technology Security Policy and, following a closed session held under Public Act 267, MCL 15.268 §8(h), adopted an Incident Response Policy regarding information technology.

IT Director Matt Ward presented an updated Barry County Information Technology Security Policy, which the Board approved during the Aug. 11 meeting. Later in the agenda the Board moved into closed session under Public Act 267 of 1976, MCL 15.268, Section 8(h), to consider material exempt from disclosure related to the Incident Response Policy; after reconvening the Board voted to approve the Incident Response Policy as discussed in closed session.
