The Village of Manhattan board voted to repeal Title 1, Chapter 5, Section 5 of the village code, removing designated department trustee positions. Chair said the change "aligns the code with the village's current organizational structure" and will "reduce the role overlaps" created by listing six designated department trustees in the code.
