Committee approves $694,723 amendment for Columbia Avenue design work

The committee approved Amendment 2 to City contract 2018-042 with Barge Design Solutions for the Columbia Avenue widening and improvement project (TDOT PIN 121454.00). Staff said ongoing right-of-way appraisals produced unexpected property-damage estimates and required multiple design revisions; they also said design software used by the consultant must be upgraded and converted.
