Council committee authorizes RFQ and seeks WSRLA design loan for 2028 water-main replacement

Clerk read an ordinance authorizing the director of public service to advertise for qualifications and hire design professionals for the Water Main Replacement Program 2028. Chris (S12) said the RFQ will be posted on Bonfire and the program covers about two miles of water main, with pipe diameters from 6 to 16 inches, prioritized by critical-break history and OPWC funding cycles.
