Commissioners ratify routine agreements, records-destruction resolutions, and hear community updates

Franklin County approved resolutions to destroy old records, ratified an Extension cooperative agreement, signed a juvenile-detention MOU and pathology services agreement, approved comp-time carryover and a traffic enforcement grant, and heard CAPSA and IAC updates including that CAPSA assisted 2,429 people in the past year.

At the Oct. 15 meeting, the board signed two resolutions authorizing destruction of financial records older than 10 years and obsolete prosecuting attorney records (Resolutions 2024‑10‑15‑A and 2024‑10‑15‑B). Commissioners also ratified a Cooperative Agreement for the University of Idaho Extension program and signed an annual Memorandum of Agreement with Mini‑Cassia Juvenile Detention to provide overflow housing when Bannock County is full.
