Garland Multicultural Commission welcomes two new members
The commission introduced two new appointees: Maria Borinaga, a registered nurse at the Dallas VA with 35 years' experience, and Corey McLaurin, a District 4 appointee; members gave brief personal and district introductions and discussed orientation and district representation.

Ang introduced two new commission members and invited them to introduce themselves. Maria Borinaga said, "I'm a registered nurse... I've been a nurse for 35 years," and said she works at the Dallas VA Medical Center. Borinaga noted recent attendance at Asian American Pacific cultural events.
