Fire Chief Steve Rockwell told the Select Board he had obtained an approximately $3,000 quote from a Manchester-area contractor to install an extractor and dryer and is seeking a local plumber's hourly estimate for comparison. Rockwell also reported front brake, drum and seal replacement on a fire truck that cost about $6,000 and was charged to a personal credit card pending town reimbursement; rear brake work remains outstanding.
