Town water tower back in service; crews report routine maintenance and meter changes

Public-works staff updated the council on utilities work, reporting that the town's water tower "is back in service as of last Friday" and that crews are switching out meters that previously failed to read. The public-works report also listed routine tasks completed in July: alley weed spraying, trimming around the splash pad, work at the old wastewater plant including gravel and landscape stone, pothole repairs and mosquito spraying.
