During the public comment period Diana Hardyberger (representing the 'Box Hill Committee of Liberty' in her remarks) urged the county commissioners to observe Constitution Month and discussed historical antecedents to the U.S. Constitution, including references to the Magna Carta and other documents. Her remarks framed the founding documents as foundational to liberty and criticized current representatives who, in her view, had departed from constitutional principles.
