Council approves cosponsorship for Piñatas de Esperanza community event

The Talent City Council approved a motion to cosponsor Piñatas de Esperanza (also referenced in staff materials as Vientos Esperanza), allowing no-cost use of the Talent Community Center from Sept. 30 through Oct. 4, 2026. "A pinata is really a deliberate act of joy," said Chela Sanchez, describing the cultural and fundraising goals of the event, which the presenter described as a collaboration between Adelante Community Partners and the Talent Business Alliance.
