The council approved additional appropriations for Probation (moving-related expenses) and multiple Sheriff's Department line items; motions passed unanimously 6-0 and a separate longevity review for probation was set for Sept. 21.

Auditor Tiffany Deakins told the council Probation requested additional appropriation funds to cover unforeseen costs from moving buildings; the county will cover those costs from Supplemental Adult funds. John Barrett moved to approve the appropriation, Timothy Longenbaugh seconded, and the motion passed 6-0.
