The floor opened for Article 10 (operating) and Article 11 (equipment purchase) for the Alburgh Volunteer Fire Department. There were no substantive comments on Article 10. When Herbie Durham asked why the two articles were not combined, Noah Vincelette explained that "the articles are separate being they represent different budget aspects" and noted that AVFD operates as a nonprofit organization.
