Alburgh notes ANR change: transfer station reporting now annual
The Vermont ANR changed reporting requirements so Alburgh's transfer station will report annually rather than quarterly, effective Jan. 1, 2026; town staff confirmed NWSWD partners are aware and complying.

The Vermont Agency of Natural Resources informed the town that transfer station reporting requirements changed: data on quantities, types, sources and destinations of solid waste will now be submitted annually rather than quarterly, effective Jan. 1, 2026. Town Administrator Amanda Costello told the board that she contacted Northwest Vermont Solid Waste District representatives John Leddy and Dale Chapman, who are aware and are following the annual reporting requirement.
