City staff reports progress on multiple housing projects; 1882 at Old Canton and large subdivisions move forward
Community development staff updated council on local projects: the 1882 at Old Canton development has started construction (10 of 16 building applications picked up), Gilmer Ferry phase-2 (36 homes) and Sharp Creek Overlook (140 homes) are in review, and Roberts East proposes 76 homes on about 47 acres; building permits year-to-date were reported at 56.
