On July 20, 2026 the Village of Sebewaing council adopted a set of resolutions affecting the Sebewaing Light & Water Department. Resolution #08-2026-2027 designated Thomas Bignall as General Manager signatory for Sebewaing Light & Water effective July 20, 2026. Additional resolutions (#09-2026-2027 and #10-2026-2027) appointed Bignall as a Commissioner to the Michigan Public Power Agency (MMPA), named Charlene Hudson, Assistant General Manager, as an alternate commissioner, and designated Bignall as the Member Authorized Representative with delegated authority to approve Power Purchase Commitments that fall within MMPA policy guidelines.
