The Martin County Metropolitan Planning Organization voted to approve two TIP amendments authorizing interim safety projects on State Road 710. MPO senior planner Bolivar Gomez presented Amendment No. 6 (a westbound right turn lane into Spring Haven Avenue) and Amendment No. 7 (a new signalized intersection with crosswalks and lighting at Garcia Drive) to match the state work program and make identified funding eligible to be spent.
