Committee reviewed secondary unit structures, long-term transfer goals and representative texts; trustees were shown a new board-approved elective, 'Punchlines and Perspectives,' plus writing center and science syllabus work to ensure consistent syllabi across sections.

Staff walked trustees through the structure of secondary course pages — course description, unit focus, long-term transfer goals, standards (Common Core), unit understandings and acquisition-of-knowledge sections — and pointed to representative texts listed in course overviews or under core-resource buttons. The presenter said stage-one materials for ELA are complete and representative texts are listed in course overviews.
