Parks and Recreation Manager Jess Skalicky proposed formalizing Arden Hills' volunteer park stewardship under an expanded Adopt‑A‑Park program that would allow groups to adopt parks or specific amenities such as storm drains, fire hydrants and rain gardens. Skalicky said best practices in peer cities favor an online registration system, a clear statement of adopter responsibilities, and GIS mapping of adoptable sites.
