Dr. Cassell presented the state’s low‑performing schools list and described the school improvement timeline and required steps for the district. She identified the schools designated this year (Central, Dillard, Lake Soul Spray, Reidsville Elementary, Holmes Middle, Reidsville Middle, Rockingham County Middle) and said principals submitted initial plans to the curriculum and instruction department in September for review.
