The Board adopted amendments to Chapter 205 that clarify when an animal is considered to be running at large and that prohibit feeding of certain animals when the feeding creates a nuisance. Community development director David Pavich said the changes distinguish private property, property of an owner and public property (allowing off‑leash activity inside the dog park) and remove a prior age restriction for dog handlers — replacing it with a responsibility standard.
