Vinalhaven planners outline process to form Comprehensive Plan Drafting Committee

Michael Martone of the Midcoast Council of Governments presented draft documents to the Vinalhaven Planning Commission on Sept. 16 outlining how a Comprehensive Plan Drafting Committee would be formed and operate. He said committee members would be appointed by the Selectboard for two-year terms and recommended that the drafting committee include members from other town-appointed committees and be kept to no more than 13 people.
