Committee leaders opened the meeting by recognizing emergency-operations staff for completing the county Emergency Operations Plan; a chair said Park County recently became the only county to concur with the plan and staff members were commended for their work.

The Emergency Service Study Committee opened its session by asking members to formally recognize staff who worked on the county Emergency Operations Plan (EOP). The chair said: "before we get started, I think that um it's worth recognizing Mr. Dwit over here for the uh emergency operations procedures."
