The board voted to adopt the Federal Transit Administration procurement policy for Union County's transit program, with an effective date read into the record as Feb. 11, 2026. The chair introduced the motion and said the policy "only relates to purchases made by the county for Union County Transportation," noting the policy applies to purchases over $5,000 as required by the FTA via the Georgia Department of Transportation.
