Potash Bridge closed over structural concerns; Select Board says reopening not a priority

The Select Board heard an update that Potash Bridge is closed because the older portion of the structure is failing and not because of storm damage. A board member described the bridge as being in “two pieces” and said prior localized repairs had not arrested deterioration; he said he has photographs documenting the decline over five to six years.
