Springfield subcommittee sets Oct. 9 final review, aims for Oct. 19 first reading at council
The subcommittee scheduled a final review meeting for Oct. 9 at 2 p.m. and plans to ask the City Council to place the woodlands ordinance on the Oct. 19 agenda for first reading, with adoption discussion slated for a later November session.

At the end of the Sept. 24 meeting, the subcommittee set a schedule to conclude its work: members agreed to a final subcommittee review on Oct. 9 at 2:00 p.m., after which the chair plans to place the ordinance on the City Council agenda for a first reading on Oct. 19. The chair said the ordinance would return to the subcommittee after first reading and the body could expect to consider adoption in November.
