The Orange County Board of County Commissioners voted 6–1 to adopt the county's final millage rates for fiscal year 2026–27, setting an aggregate proposed millage of 6.9675, a 2.21% increase over the rollback rate of 6.8168. The vote followed a formal reading of individual rollback and proposed millage rates by Kurt Peterson, the county's OMB director.
