The treasurer (speaker 6) told the council the village is implementing a VSNA chart-of-accounts conversion and an online VSNA system under a Department of Treasury MOU, with completion expected by October 2025. The treasurer said a Neptune gateway device to work with the new meters is ready for implementation and described the meters’ leak-alert features: "that's our smart meter that's going to be able to read everybody's water usage. And if they have a leak, it will actually alarm us at what time, what date," the treasurer said.
