Firestone approves Windish RV outline-development amendment to formalize RV sales and service
The Board of Trustees approved Ordinance 10-75, an amendment to the outline development plan for the Windish RV property that clarifies permitted RV sales, service, rental and temporary storage uses and clears a longstanding nonconforming-use issue, enabling a consolidated facility and future minor plat and final development plan.

The Board of Trustees voted to adopt Ordinance 10-75 on March 18, 2026, approving an amendment to the outline development plan (ODP) for the Windish RV site along the East I‑25 frontage road. Planner Annika Risser told the board the 7.2‑acre site’s amendment merely aligns the historical RV sales, service, rental and storage uses with the town’s current Firestone Development Code and does not change the property’s actual use.
