Georgetown Library asks residents to contribute items for new time capsule

Julie Warren, who leads the time-capsule committee at the Georgetown Library, urged residents to suggest or donate small objects that represent life in 2026. She said the committee is coordinating with local organizations to gather representative items from across the county, including challenge coins from the Francis Marion Museum and tokens from law enforcement.
