Code enforcement flags dumpster, RV parking and sign-permit issues; downtown owner resists enclosure
Code enforcement reported a downtown plaza owner refused to enclose dumpsters and told staff to "take him to court;" officers also detailed recurring complaints about RVs, parking setbacks, and an unresolved notice to a business listed as 'JVI.' Council asked staff to continue follow-up and research ordinance language used by other communities.

Code Enforcement Officer Laura told the council she had contacted the facility manager for Goodrich Schools about installing a dumpster enclosure behind Reed School but was told the cost and the extra-tall dumpster configuration presented challenges. Laura said she planned to meet the manager on-site to explore options.
