A state representative addressed the Victoria County Commissioners Court about a recent Public Utility Commission (PUC) request for information on data-center water usage, telling the court the PUC "had issued a very direct, ask for information on water usage for data centers here for the state of Texas" and noting that county-level responses were sparse.
