The Town of Ordway council voted on Nov. 10, 2025 to update its local building regulations from the 1994 edition to the 2018 International Building Code. The motion to adopt the 2018 IBC was moved by Pro Tem Tracy Pepper and seconded by Council Member Dude Buford; the minutes record the vote as approved 6-0.
