Las Animas County accepted a $7,500 award from the Boettcher Foundation to support a countywide public communications study to be conducted with Emergent Campus. Administrator Phil Dorenkamp reported the county applied for the grant and Finance Director Kristee Coberly told the board she will handle the grant reporting requirements.
