MAS Director Nate told the board the county is preparing to migrate mailboxes to Microsoft Office 365 to align licensing and reduce unnecessary charges, and that staff are evaluating archival and backup costs tied to a cloud environment. "We're getting pricing on that and where that kind of fits in with our current archival process," Nate said, noting that migration would affect the backup system and require putting older email into cold storage.
