On July 20, 2026 the Pierce County Board of Equalization discussed the list of 2026 Exempt Cemeteries for Pierce County and then voted to approve the list as submitted by County Assessor Jean Lubke. The motion to approve the list was made by Chairman Brad Albers and seconded by John Steinkraus; the roll call vote recorded Aye: Steinkraus, Albers and Martinson.
