The Decatur ISD Board approved the district's Compensation Plan for the 2026–2027 school year during the Aug. 17 meeting. The motion was brought by Delvon Campbell and seconded by Cynthia Alvarez; the minutes show the motion passed 7-0. The public minutes do not include the plan's salary schedules, step increases or the budgetary impact figures.
