The Decatur ISD Board of Trustees voted to accept updated language in the District Improvement Plan for 2025–2026 at its Aug. 27, 2026, special meeting. The motion to accept the update was made by Trustee Sandra Schneider and seconded by Trustee Meagan Hood; the motion passed 6–0.
