The Pierce County Board of Commissioners on July 20, 2026 directed the county clerk to include $75,061.00 in the 2026–27 fiscal year budget to provide monetary support to Pierce County Economic Development (PCED). The instruction came after PCED representatives, including PCED Director Judith Stanton and board member Todd Wragge, introduced the organization and provided updates to the board.
