The Hughes County Commission approved an updated Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) with the South Dakota Public Assurance Alliance (SDPAA) during its Feb. 17, 2026 meeting. Commissioners voted unanimously to accept the update; the motion was moved by Commissioner Tom Rounds and seconded by Commissioner Bill Abernathy.
