Burke County finance committee extends solid waste transfer RFP for 30 days
The Burke County Finance Committee voted Jan. 8 to extend the request for proposals for solid waste transfer and disposal services by 30 days; the extension was moved by Commissioner Rodney Braswell and seconded by Commissioner Terri Lodge Kelly, and the matter will return for departmental recommendation at the Jan. 13 Board meeting.

The Burke County Finance Committee voted on Jan. 8 to extend the request for proposals for Solid Waste Transfer and Disposal Services for 30 days. Commissioner Rodney Braswell moved to extend the RFP; Commissioner Terri Lodge Kelly seconded the motion, and the committee recorded that the motion passed unanimously.
