Veranda site plan amendment approved; quads replaced with duplexes
The board approved an administrative amendment to the Veranda Matthews site plan to replace quad units with duplexes while keeping unit counts unchanged; staff said the revision improves internal circulation and removes parking that previously backed up to neighboring homes.

The board unanimously approved a change in conditions and revised site plan for Veranda Matthews (1201 Four Lakes Drive), a previously approved development behind the Target shopping center. Planner Nadine Bennett explained that the developer will replace quadplex units with duplex units but retain the same total unit count; the revised site plan relocates parking away from abutting homes, improves internal circulation and adjusts the turning radius per fire department input.
