Mayor Skip Blackstone recommended that the City of Ivanhoe decline a FEMA HHPD grant, telling the council the city no longer needs the award and that the 35% local match would be put to better use elsewhere. Councilmember Tull moved to accept the mayor’s recommendation, Councilmember Lindsay seconded, and the motion passed unanimously.
