Staff announced that the small-business retention program launched two weeks ago at the mayor's roundtable and has already produced multiple applications. "We did officially launch the small business retention program 2 weeks ago at the mayor's roundtable. We have it on the website. We have it on our socials. Within those 2 weeks, we have already have sent... 7 pending applications," the staff member identified in the meeting transcript as "Miss Jimenez" said, adding that three applications request equipment/software grants and four request advertising campaigns for a total ask of $27,000 against a $30,000 budget.
