The mayor recommended two appointments to fill two partial, two-year terms on the planning commission (terms running through Dec. 31, 2028). Robin Vincent introduced herself at the meeting, saying she retired to Moab two years ago after working overseas and offered her experience as an educator to the commission. Matt Hebert was recommended but absent from the meeting; the mayor said staff and the planning-commission chair had vetted applicants.
