Allegany County proclaims Constitution Week and Sheriff’s Week; DAR and sheriff recognized
At its Sept. 9 meeting the Allegany County Board of Legislators proclaimed Constitution Week (Sept. 17–23) and Sheriff’s Week (Sept. 14–20), heard remarks from a local DAR leader and Sheriff Scott Cicirello highlighting civic observance and law enforcement challenges.

Sandy Edwards, Honorary Regent of the Catherine Schuyler Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, told the Board the organization founded Constitution Week to encourage study and recognition of the U.S. Constitution and thanked the Board for the county proclamation.
