The board made several appointments affecting Senior Programs and recycling oversight. Motion 47-2026 appointed Pat Lederle, identified in the minutes as President of Lapeer County Recycling, to serve as an alternate member of the Materials Management Planning Committee. The board reappointed Willa M. Talley to the Valley Area on Aging Board of Directors for a two-year term expiring Dec. 31, 2027 (Motion 69-2026). Commissioner Greg Wise nominated Kelly Nolan for an Advisory Council Representative vacancy; Motion 70-2026 closed nominations and cast unanimous ballots for Nolan to serve a two-year term expiring Dec. 31, 2027.
