Jun 10, 2025

The full story

Planning staff presented draft zoning amendments to define and regulate donation bins: a permit requirement, a maximum size (5 feet long by 5 feet wide by 6 feet high), a safety chute with lock, visible maintenance contact information on the exterior, location limits to commercial districts (B1, B2, HC1) and surface and setback rules (concrete/asphalt surface, at least 20 feet from public roadways and 10 feet from other lot lines).
