The Planning Commission approved a conditional use permit May 8 to allow a small-scale meat and game processing facility in the General Commercial zone (case 26025, resolution 4562). Staff presented the application and recommended conditions requiring compliance with local, state and federal health and safety standards, operational screening, odor and noise controls, disposal of solid waste in lidded containers, and connection to an on-site wastewater treatment system.
